Do you feel angry when your parents scold you?Answer honestly.

i do feel angry but i keep my anger to myself.no use arguing with them as it will just escalate the whole thing.usually i just keep quiet or go off to some other quiet place.they are my parents.they scold me out of good intentions although i do not agree their thinking.i have my own life and i choose how to live it.so the truth is i do really feel angry.-_-''

Sure, I get angry too. It's just normal since we don't want to be wrong. When I was younger I'd throw tantrums everytime I get scolded by my mom. I hate being scolded. Sometimes, I answer back. But I realized, now that I'm more mature (I hope so ;D) they scold us because they have a point to make. I'm grateful that my mom scolded me then because I learned my lessons. ;D Just listen to what they have to say but don't let it get to you. I mean, listen because they're your parents and they deserve that. ;D

yes i do get angry.. but i have become a lot better than what i was 2 years back.. i use to fight with them whenever they scolded me. but now i have become a lot more calmer.. tc..

If it's something I don't agree with, I will get angry. I know they're just doing what they think is best for me- and how can I argue with that? However, if I believe they're being unfair, I will get angry and say something. They never taught me to stand up for myself, I had to learn that on my own. So, it just all depends on what they say and their intentions if I get angry or not.

Its unfortunate that you feel this way. You shouldnt look at it like you can't scold them back, you should figure out why they are doing it. If I may ask, what have they scolded you fo-r in the past or what is something that seems to get your anger up most?
