Ever know anyone show was scared of "cheese"

A friend told me about her relative that is terrified of "cheese". At a dinner she set a bown of macaroni and cheese on the table and he jumped up from the table and started screaming and backing away. He was terrified of the cheese in the macaroni and cheese. He is scared of any kind of cheese, any color, whether it is sliced or block cheese. Has anybody ever heard of this type of phobia? I found it unusual.

I have heard of some unusual phobias before but this one is certainly unique! I wonder what type of traumatic event in someone's life causes a fear like this? Maybe a cheese wheel fell on his head when he was a child? Or someone dressed as a can of Cheese Whizz during Halloween kicked his a@@? 
I saw a documentary many months ago where a woman was in therapy to try to overcome her morbid fear of KNEES of all things! But cheese by far is the strangest phobia I have heard of.

I wondered if it was the color of cheese or the smell of cheese that terrified him. The relative didn't know which only that she thought he was crazy. He did refuse to sit back down at the table until she moved the bowl of macaroni and cheese. Thanks for your response.
