Family OR Friends Whats More Important To You?

According to me, Friend comes first because after certain age we can't share with parents. So, we need to have a good and understanding friend who is equalent 100 friends
Friend is more important in oder to discuss even family matters..

Family for sure! Parents bring you up with sweat, money, and tears. They provide shelter, food, and love. They will always be there for you and help you when you are trouble. Friends come and go. I used to have a lot of friends in my early 20's but I haven't seen a lot of them anymore. People start to have families and that will be their priority. There was a time when I thought my friends are more important but that changes as you get older.

Like you Ive had many friends but Ive moved on and started a life with a girl who has 3 kids and now I never hear from any of my old friends anymore. I also used to think friends where more important but quickly realized who was actually there for me no matter what- MY FAMILY!

Depends on which part of my family we're talking about... If you mean my parents, then my friends come first. If you mean my husband & kids, then my family comes first. The reason for the difference is my parents have taken a good chunk of money from me (over $1500 that was for college) and have ran up bills in my name, so I'm a bit bitter when it comes to them & money. Plus they don't approve of my choice to be a stay-at-home mom, so they think they are better than my husband & I because they have more money. But we are happy with our life the way it is & we don't want for anything. Sure we can't run out and buy our girls the latest toy every week, but they don't need that anyway.

Im truly sorry to hear that. Some families are just messed up like that. Like you Im a stay at home dad by choice and raising my girlfriends 3 kids. Her parents cant stand that I dont work but my family understands how much I like keep these guys safe and teaching them new things all the time. As for the money thing you could have all the money in the world and it still would'nt change anything except you'd have more material possessions. At least you and your husband are happy and to me thats all that really matters.

I always put my family first...but there are a few friends I consider to be as important to me just like family.

My family will always be the most important to me. They have been there from the beginning and helped me through a lot of situations where my "friends" turned their backs on me. Friends come and go but my sisters will always be my sisters, my mom will always be my mom, etc.
I do think that friends can become family though, if they are able to stand up to those standards.
