I heard this on the radio channel, that the obesity level in USA is doubling every decade and if this goes on, we'll get the scenario as above.. Putting the spotlight on Japan, it is said that the government is putting restrictions on the waist and hip length of the employees a company can hire otherwise it will carry a fine. And.. in my country, one of the local hospitals has declared that they DO NOT hire obese employees without any regards to the individual's work performance... all for the sake of their corporate image. Is the united states lagging behind the war on obesity? What do you think?
