PayPal...

So, how do we convince MyLot to go with some other company? It occurs to me that my first thought was right and PayPal is not the kind of company that I would like to do business with. I've heard the PayPal horror stories, so I was cautious about getting involved with them. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of choice, being here at mylot. So, create an account I did, and I figured that since I had this account, I might as well use it for other things on the web since PayPal is ostensibly "safer" than giving away too much information to random companies. I found this thing that I wanted to buy for $5.00. I transferred $5.00 from my bank account into PayPal, waited for it to clear, then ordered my thing from the net. Well, PayPal went and pulled 5 new dollars from my bank account, completely ignoring the $5.00 that is in there now. I am waiting for it to clear. So, this leaves me with a question. Why did they pull $5.00 from my bank account, when there are 5 perfectly good dollars in there? So, I figured that I would just go ask them. So I go to PayPal's page, go to their help page and there is no e-mail address that I see there, but at the bottom is a link for "Contact Us". I click it and it takes me back to the same help page. I really don't enjoy doing business with a company that doesn't want to talk to me. So how do we convince MyLot?

Hi DarkDancer-I have an account with both PayPal and Alertpay..so far I haven't encountered any problems with Paypal but do need to change my account details with Alertpay though I am having the same problem as you as they are not answering me either it is annoying when this happens I don't like people who don't talk to me either especially if its to do with my account..the one thing that is ok is when Mylot pays as I always get that...littleowl

It's a pain when the people you want to do business with won't talk to you.....

Hi DarkDancer, Sorry you had a bad experience with PayPal, althought I have not used paypal yet as I haven't not been paid by Mylot and this month will be the first time I will be dealing with paypal, my husban has in the past used it and was quite pleased with the service, he has no problems with paypal.
