My mum had given me my name. Thanks to her, because she had worked hard to look for a name which is suitable to my Chinese birth zodiac according to namelogy. It's an art of choosing the name with favourable chinese character, with matching pronunciation. Besides, the attributes of the chinese character should be compatible with the name bearer's elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth). Because in our believe, a good name will bless the bearer to achieve better life and fortune.

You are most welcome and thanks for your good wishes. I like my name. My friends told me that it's special. I am grateful to my considerate mum. I feel to lucky to own a good name. I forgot to tell my real name. The chinese pronunciation is "Zhang, Yi-Jing". Zhang is my last name or family name. Name given by my mum is Yi-Jing, Yi means artistic in mandarin while Jing means competition.

hi..my name is farhan and my name was given by my parents. 'farhan' in arabic means 'my happiness'. As a muslim, we believe that our name give some influence to our behavior. That is why we are needed to put a name with a good meaning to children. we also believe that every single word spoken by us is a prayer. so, avoid from calling people 'stupid, dub etc..'.
