How did you write your Personal Statement????

Well, I am applying for admission to school of law, and have been puzzled by PS. Acorrding to school's instruction, you are supposed to say something like your purpose of learning in law school, and better to line out your schedule and demonstrate your uniqueness. However, when I refer to some A-leved PS, all of them are telling stories somewhat sounds like irrevelent to plans or schedules , even law. So, what do you think consist of an excellent personal statement? And how did you hand it ?????
