I recieved my first 50.00 payout today from Neowide. I know some of you were interested in writing for them but wanted to be sure they were legitimate first. As far as I can tell they are. Good luck to anyone who writes for them.

Congratulations! I bet that was a great feeling when you got paid. I love hearing about success stories and yours is right up there. What have you written? Do you have a link to your articles? I'd love to read them. If you have a referral link, I'd love to have that as well. I'm not ready to start writing anything right now, but if I ever do decide to try it, I'd love to give you some credit by joining under you if that's possible. You deserve that for letting us know that Neowide is an honest site. How long did it take you to reach payout? I have a personal website and love posting legitimate sites that pay for anyone who is curious enough to visit my site. It sounds like this is one of them. Again, congratulations! Keep on writing!

It took me around a week. I was writing alot about stuff I already know about, trying to reach payout before the end of the month. They don't do referrals, but here's the link to me on their site. http://neowide.com/author/angel-sharum/

Congratulations on getting your $50 payment from Neowide! That's great. It sounds like you really got to work pretty quickly on there. Good for you. I checked it out a week or 2 ago when you first told us about it but I haven't "joined". I've been writing a few articles for Helium again. So that's been fun.

I put a short story up on Helium yesterday I think it was. I may start doing some of them there. I take Helium in spurts.

I checked the site 2 days ago and thought of signing up. Congrats on the first payment. On what topics did you write? How long were your articles?

I wrote on different topics. Some health articles, some How-tos, a few about kids. Just all kinds of things. You can write about pretty much whatever you want. They have lots of categories to choose from. My articles were from 200-400 words.

Thank you. I promised I'd come back and let everyone know if they really paid. I know how it is wondering if you're writing for nothing. I love your avatar!

I have been waiting for this discussion since you told us about Neowide. I have read the entire discussion with great interest. I'm happy that you have received your first payout from them. I checked your articles and I guess they seem to the types Of articles I write too, short and simple to read. I love them! I think I will start to write for them this month. I intend to spend more time at Neowide this month to see if I can reach payout. I was waiting for this information before I actually start writing there. I think Triond will have to be on hold for a bit this month. My next few articles will definitely be for Neowide. Thank you for sharing this great piece of information! Love ya! I have two questions. How long does it take for Neowide to pay you once you requested for payment? Since they are paying upfront for these articles, does it mean that acquire full rights for them?

They paid me on the 3rd I believe. So that's not too bad. They only pay once a month if you reach payout by the end of the previous month. Yes, they buy full rights to the articles. Good luck writing with them.

Congratulations on your payout. And congrats for making the no one on the top of the list. I went to the site and saw you there for a couple of days. How many article did you have to write to get to $50.00? Was all of them paid just $1?

I made 50.00 for 25 articles. I had a few of the short ones that got 1.00 and the others were between 2 and 4.

Up until you posted it, I never heard of it. I will have to look into it to see if it would be worth looking into it. I know I have a few sites I write on but couldn't hurt to expand my horizons so to speak if you know what I mean. Thanks for sharing the site though. I'd have to really see what type of articles they accept just to get a better feel and understanding I suppose.

They pay between 1-10 dollars an article. The most I've made on one article is 4.00 so far, but I've been writing simple articles. I was just trying to see if they would really pay before putting alot of effort into it. I've done better with them than AC, but that's becasue I'm not good at keywords. You can read the articles I have here: http://neowide.com/author/angel-sharum/ Some are better than others.

I hear you. I'm not very good at keywords either on AC. I've published material but it's been hit or miss as far as what will get people to read and what won't. I think I can look into it more once I get done with a project I have to complete.

I've started promoting my articles more and it seems to be helping. I'll talk about specific ones here, put links on Xomba, and on the writing board. That's what people told me will help,so I'm trying it.

You're welcome. Remember to tell them they pay between 1 and 10 dollars. The most I've got is 3 for one article I believe.

As far as I know they don't have a referral program. The link is just www.neowide.com. You don't get paid by page view or anything, just straight out buying the articles.

You are welcome. I am up to 16.45 with them again since getting paid. A few of us have noticed they aren't paying as much as that first week. I think they figured out that they couldn't pay everyone too much right off the bat or something.
