I moved into a house that needed some work. The landlord said that she was going to have all the things done that her and i have talked about, before i move in. Well when it was time to move in she not have anything done. The carpet was supposed to be replaced, she was supposed to paint the walls, the closet doors in each bedroom were not there, i had a bedroom door missing, our septic was backed up before we moved in and we had told her about it. She said that she was would get that fixed as well. About a week later the septic backed up so bad it was in the shower and the bathtub. When i called her about it she told us that we would have to figure it out ourselves. So we spent our own money to fix it ( this should not have been out responsibiliy ). Then another major thing is now that the septic had backed upi there is black mold growing in one of the bathrooms. We told her about it about 2 months ago and nothing has been done. So i had stopped paying my rent. I know that is wrong but the reason i did was because i am saving the money to move. I found a place and the is nothing wrong witht the place there. I am getting out, since the black mold had started growing my son and i are getting sick. I NEVER GET SICK!!!! I dont want anything serious to happen to my son. So we are going to take the landlord to court for the damages that we have had to replace. Then about a month ago our window was broke by the wind. We went 3 weeks with no window and with no frame to the window. I had this hole in my wall. So i need to vent, so here i am venting.
