How do you know if your boyfriend really loves you?

My cousin been talking to this guy for about three months but she been living with him for two months, she been living rent free, her boyfriend gave her a key to his place, he gave her his mail box key and his code to check the messages on his house phone, he tells her he loves her everyday, but at times she feels like he don't really love her because on his days off from work instead of spending his off day with her, he spends it with his boys who are single and jealous of his relationship, she said sometimes he acts like he don't want to be with her, and sometimes she feels like he is still in love with his ex wife because when she calls his place at 3'o clock in the morning he act like it's not a big deal, but it makes his girlfriend very angry but he acts like he don't care about her feelings when it comes to his ex wife. Anyway long story short, how can you tell if someone really loves you? Iknow some people say you can tell from their actions if someone truely loves you but what are some other ways of knowing?

You cannot ever know.
The reality is that only the person can know if they love someone.
However, people can demonstrate love in many ways - as long as they are doing these thinsg then whether they actually SAY 'I love you' is less important. Just like politicians, what matters is not what they say but what they do.
Some of the thinsg you describe are not consistent with placing you as the number one person in his life. Maybe by asking this question you need to ask yourself do you really love him? You need to talk more to one another to find out how to improve your relationship. Love needs to be worked at by both people to last.
