Hello friends. I am in the process of writing a novel. How many pages do you think there should be in a novel? In electronic tersm how much should be the size of the novel if typed as a text?

When writing, you should never, never, forget that quality is better than quantity, anybody can write a whole lot of junk, but it takes a good author to write a decent novel. Write things that you, yourself, would be happy reading. Otherwise, novels vary a lot in size, some are 30,000, some are 100,000, but it doesn't really matter.

i think at least 200 pages. if less, it will be called a novella. but it doesnt matter which yours is as long as it is a good story that people enjoy reading.

It depends on the topic you are writing, your style and your projected audience. But for neophytes I believe it would be more advatageous on their part to write a lesser paged novel as a starter. But for Tom Clancy or Robert Ludlum, number of pages doesn't matter at all.

i think the number does not matter at all.
it is the style, the content which will be more important!!
