What are you doing to benefit from the current economic crisis? I decided to get into the Stock Market. I took some of my savings and invested in a few stocks. After studying the market i found that there are some real bargains out there and they fit with my financial plan. I am hoping that I can make some money (not get rich quick) for my retirement. I also plan to open a new IRA to help in my retirement.

I hope you check out my website about advanced analytical methods of stock market analysis. I am a published author of 3 articles on this subject. Each article featured a new, unique, propritary alogrithm. My web page can be gotten to through my profile page. Please, use either the email address there or myLot pm to ask questions. I agree the market is going to still be a source of profits for people in the future. I think you got in just a little early,(don't worry, I've been wrong before) but if you picked companies making money with a good future, you'll still do fine.

I have looked at stocks that have a strong history and are making a profit and paying a good dividend. There are no reasons why these stocks should be down other than panic selling. I have faith in the American system as long as we do not get too much government interference.

I wish you luck but I would look at gold in the long run it has never been a good investment. I never like to buy when the price is high and everyone is buying.
