Normally I don't prefer to store Movies on the PCs Hard Disc. But then my son stored the Classic Movie 'The Ten Commandments' on my Pcs both the Desk Top and on lap Top. Though I didn't like the idea of storing the moving, looking at his affection and love , as he knew that I like that movie, (he stored it for me) I have not deleted it from neither of my PCs. Normally I prefer Pen Drives to store the data. Previously I used to use.Rewritable CDs. How about you do you store Movies on your PC's Hard Disc ? Please respond! Thanks!

Well I must say one thing first, and that is that I DON'T like using rewritable CDs! They're easily scratched like normal CDs and then you can throw them away! While you could buy from the same price of one single ReWritable CD, you could actually buy almost 5 normale Recordable CDs, so I would deffinetly not use that. Ofcourse, pen drives are easy in use for storing data, but they're quite small as well! That's why I would like to recommend you to start using external hard drives! You can buy nowadays a 500GB external hard drive, which is compatible, and can be connected with other PCs, for just about 100 dollars! And I think for most of the people 500GB is more then enough, so it would really be a good thing to buy if it's enough for you..Your computers will be not full at some point, because you're storing it on an external hard drive, you can take it anywhere, and your computers will be faster as well, because the hard drives are not so full, so the computer don't need to check many things! And now to your question..yes I do store movies AND TV-shows on my external hard drive, when my second hard drive in my PC is filled for more then half. The I'm used to replace it on the external hard drive, so I can start downloading again! I own at this moment 2 1 TB(1024 GB) external hard drives. The one is totally full and the other is almost empty..But my computer is very quick though!

I did not prefer to store important movies in PCs hard disk because the life of hard disk and the partition in hard disk is not permanent so better to store the important movies in some DVD discs. By some mistake if the partition was lost then it could be lost of movie

well..i dont do that very often but i do tend to do it sometimes when i come across a movie which i feel like wanting to watch again and again.i currently have about 6 movies copied on to my hard disk.i have a lotta hard disk space to spare so copying some movies dosent cause too much trouble for me.
