Hey there!!!!
So here's my problem, iv booked the venue for my 30th birthday party in November, The guests have confirmed etc....but because i am so lazy iv left it til the last minute to start dieting!!!! I want to get a gorgeous dress to wear but at the minute i wont feel comfortable wearing it til iv lost a few pounds!!!!
As of today I have about 34 days to lose as much as possible, ideally about 100lbs (lol i know that is not physically possible!!! lol!!!) but as i am the way i am unless they sew my mouth up and physically drag me out to exercise, its not going to happen!!!
oh well!!!
hugs
Jessica

You can do it. Start eating water mellon on the first day and the second day only vegies. 3 rd day only fruits and vegies and 4th day 8 bananas and 3 glasses of milk. 5th day breakfast a large baked potato with little bit of butter. Drink vegetable soup all day. 6th day eat beef or chicken piece with veges and fruit juices . 7th day you can eat rice or what ever. Do not eat sweets or do not use sugar to drink juices or milk. You have to drink plenty of water every day. This way if you continue till your birthday you'll be surprised. Believe me I tried and it worked for me.

Hi Jessica, Your guests will be coming to see you to help you celebrate your 30th not to see what size you are and beuaty comes from within anyway eh! If it will make you feel more comfortable losing a bit just cut back less calories = less weight but don't beat yourself up about it. There is still time to lose a fair bit anyway if you really want to. After a few drinks you'll feel comfortable anyway whether you have lost the weight you want or not. Just have fun and enjoy your big day. Huggles. Ellie :D

Second that. They are coming to celebrate your birthday. Not to see if you have slimmed down and are looking gorgeous. And well, if that's the only thing they care about, they might not really care about you. And coming to getting your fat off, try to have some determination. Good Luck with your adventure.

First of all my dear, please have to come to wish you in good faith. If this helps, as it did me, you could drink a warm glass of water with lime juice and honey early morning on an empty stomach. Then let it be for at least an hour. Cross you fingers and hope for the best.

Am not sure how you are going to do that jessica diets for me don't work..eating healthily and small meals is the best way and to cut out crisps pastries etc but can have one now and then..your body gets used to what you are eating and when so it digests the food the same way as the day before but if you change your regime in food and eat smaller heathier meals during the day it is a shock to the body's system therefore you lose weight also now and then surprise it with some thing you like a cake or even have a day of eating things you really want to once again that shocks the system and you will still lose weight..then go back the following day to healthy meals etc the day after eat at different times..the body won't know whats hit it then so you will continue to lose weight, starving yourself isn't an option as that can also put weight on..and water really does flush you out a great tea for anti-oxidants and helping your metabolism to los weight is green tea..hope this helps ...littleowl

jessicaboardman,
I am for the idea of dieting to stay healthy. I am unsure if you are overweight or not however, I would be against the idea of dieting just to be slim literally, if you know what I mean.
In the positive and broad sense, I would advocate the abstinence of sweet stuffs and reducing your sugar intakes. It would mean reducing your sweet tooth like candies and chocolates. This means less sugar with your beverages like tea and / or coffee. No cold commercial fizzy drinks like sodas, coke, pepsis, sprites and etc..
Reduce carbohydrates intake by 60% if possible like rice, potatoes, noodles, pastas and spaghetti. You should alter your current diet habits and amount to aid your health management.
Not forgetting to squeeze in at least 15 minutes a day for rigorous activity like brisk walking, climbing a flight of stairs and etc.. The speed and intensity to be administered in moderation and according to your capability. You need not drag yourself, you can always drop a distance before your destination or get off the lift earlier than expected. Avoid the electric elevators at the mall but climbing on the escalators.
Lastly, avoid snacking and binge before meals and whilst watching television and movies. These are just some unhealthy practices and should be avoided at all cost. In all just be happy and get sufficient rest. You may want to visit the tailor for that gorgeous dress and I am not really in favor with those off the racks. Just feel that you are too good for them. It's you birthday after all and you should pamper yourself all the way. Have a good one, I say.

for your healt it's not good to loose more than 5 or 6 kilograms every month, don't do the mistake to don't eat quite nothing, instead eat correctly, really low carbohydrates, ABSOLUTELY NOT sweets chocolates milk butter bread snaks and things like these, sleep around 8 hours every night, it's very important for your metabolism! eat a lot of vegetables, don't use salt, use a bit of olive oil...i'm not a nutritionist and i can't help you more than this...i'm sorry.

It would definitely be wise to follow Snipero's response. Also, weight watchers works, It's about fifteen bucks a meeting, and they also give you healthy weight loss plans. Also, remember, Don't use fad diet plans but weight watchers definitely is veeeeeeeeeeeeeery healthy.
