Have they! lol. I grew up with Bon Jovi back in the 80's when "Slippery when wet" blew the charts wide open! They have definitely softened their musical style over the years as have many bands that have been around for a long time but they will always be out and out rockers to me! I have not heard their country influenced music yet I don't think but I guess we have to hand it to them for stepping outside the box a little; and Bon Jovi is still always Bon Jovi!

Haha, yea, I mean it's Bon Farking Jovi, so it's not like they suck or anything, it's just softer, and "Slipper When Wet" was amazing! I wish I was alive when it first came out. );

Hahahahaha! So you're making me feel OLD now? I search through page after page of zero response topics that have been sitting there for ages to be a nice guy and make you happy and then you make me out as an old fart?? Nice! lol. Slippery when wet by the way sold around 28,000,000 albums which at the time was pretty insane!

I mean, I really didn't mean it that way, and thanks for that little extra info about the album, thats awesome! And by the way, 36, isn't that old. and I dare not say it is, especially in front of aunts lol.

well they've changed their style mainly because they're getting older but I still rock on to their older songs...

Hi kllth,
I agree. I've been hearing countryinfluences aswell.
Maybe it has something to do with aging. The guys are in the business for a long time now, so maybe there getting milder with the years.
Although I have to point out that no matter what song they release, it's always a real Bon Jovi sound. There's their signature in every song they write.
