O.k. I have officially proven that Mylot is addictive. I recently signed up for some online college classes and have been very busy. Because of this I have not been on mylot in a few weeks. This was much harder than I expected. I have decided that I am hooked and will just need to find a way to sprinkle small sessions of mylottting into my week from now on. If you are just joining you have two choices run while you still have the will power or do what I did... give in to the power of mylot. LOL I just wanted to post and say "Hi" to all my wonderful mylot friends and let them you I have missed all of you. As I get more settled into the whole school thing I will be online more often, so don't give up on me yet.

LOL! That was a nice warning for those who are still easing into the myLot lifestyle.
Nice to hear from you again. Good to know that your classes are doing fine and that you are enjoying it. It warms the heart to know that you have not completely forgotten all of us here in myLot.^_^
Though, when you're over the 'withdrawal phase', you might experience the phase where you're totally bored in myLot and actually dont have anything to do but just cant seem to logout or leave the site to go do something else. Its a tough phase but I take it that you have gone through that. If you havent, at least this is a heads up.
Well, goodluck in your schooling, thanks for not forgetting us and dont forget to take some time off.

Bored with mylot? I can't ever imagine feeling that way. You guys are my only adult conversation outside of those in my family. II do appreciate the heads up though. I will just have to be sure to get little fixes here and there in order to keep that particular phase at bay. Thanks for the warm wishes and the reply. Happy mylotting.

Well I hope that classes are going good. I know that online classes are harder than actual campus classes. Hope all is well with you, and hello back

Good Luck! My friend took several classes online and he said that the science classes were the hardest. Most colleges are really good about offering help if you need it. And you could always turn to mylot for help as well.

Boy let me tell you , you were so right in saying the classes are harder online then in a classroom. I was blown away when I realized just how hard they can get. Thanks for the warning. At least knowing that others felt that way I didn't feel totally stupid when I found myself stuck.

LOL! I just signed up in mylot way long time ago and posted a few messages. Unfortunately for me I had been busy and was out for a long time too. Now, how can I make up for the lost time? :'-(

Thats so awesome that you are enriching yourself with school! I agree that mylot is very addictive, but at the same time it teaches in itself. I am not about to run as I love it!!
May I ask what you are taking in school?
Best of luck as well hun!

First let me say I am sorry for taking so long to reply to everyone. Classes are hard. I am going to school for Medical billing and coding which is so on the wrong side of the brain for an artist like me but I'm getting through it. I'm glad to hear that you have found joy here on mylot and wish you the best of luck.

I was wondering why no discussions were initiated or answered from you for a while.
Yes, MyLot is not the only site that is addictive. I belong to a few other on-line groups that I can't resist, to the detriment of house chores! I even eat while at the computer.
Hope your studies are going well.

It's true, mylot can be very addictive! I go online every day even if I just post a few responses. I just need to do it otherwise my day would seem incomplete and unproductive. I'm very happy when I see my earnings increase daily even though I only earn very little most of the time. Anyway, good luck with your studies!

Yeah it does help one feel like they accomplished a little something extra when we post and earn. Those dollar signs have a way of boosting the ego don't they. But my real addiction here is conversations with ppl outside of my immediate family I don't get that anywhere else right now. It helps me stay as close to sane I I want to be (true sanity is boring).

Hi Freedomg, its good to see that your still around. I agree that's its hard to stay away from mylot for very long, maybe there should be a twelve step program for mylotians. I hope your schooling is going well for you!
Hugs, Tianna

Do not worry about us here but worry more about your studies as they should be your priority. If you really missed myLot, then just allocate sometimes, such as, one hour a day so that you could just post a couple of discussions or reply to some discussions within that one hour.
However, that would require a strong will power and discipline to overcome the temptation of spending more than the allocated time and that is an addiction that has no cure at the moment. LOL!
Anyway, all the best with your studies and will catch up with your new discussions soon!
Cheers!

Thank you for the warm wishes. I tried the one hour bit and it didn't work so it appears I may me doomed to only mylot on days when there are no classes or assignments to tend to. Oh well *sigh* I'll survive. Sorry I couldn't resist. Thanks for the reply and happy mylotting.
