Everton has a forgettable week, being booted out of UEFA cup and Carling cup in 8 days. In EPL, they do no better, being the only team defeated 3 times at home, shipping in 8 goals in the process.
Newcastle United, no stranger to lousy morale nowadays, may face a revolution under Kinnear, the new temporary manager. He has showed that he is a man of style in a recent press conference, and things seem to be improving in Newcastle both in and out of the pitch.
Who will win? This should be a tricky match. Everton is in a lousy form now, but they do have the quality in their squad. Newcastle is alittle trickier. They have quality, but doesn't blend well most of the time. I think that the key man to watch will be Kinnear (who sadly, will be in the stands). Hopefully (but quite unlikely), he will bring some (miracle) changes to Newcastle.

You are right when you say the battle of low morale. Both clubs are looking forward to takeovers from some rich buyers to take them forward. But, looking only at footballing aspects, I think it would be Everton which will clinch the win. I just think the Newcastle players have just given up given what all has been happening over at the club. I expect an Everton win 2-1.
Cheers!

Everton certainly have some advantage over Newcastle. It will be a great match to watch hopefully. This will also be the match that determines Michael Owen's place in the World Cup Qualifier.

Sources say Owen will not make it to the 23 man squad.

I guess a draw may be playout. But things are looking gd at newcastle. With new manager, they should be able to gain back confidence.
However if u look at david moyes team, they have plenty of quality. The lost in UEFA cup may further motivates them to do better in the epl.
