?Do you treat yourself on your birthdays??

Hi dolc_vita78, I don't work so I just don't have the extra to treat myself on my birthday, so I just carry on as normal. Happy Birthday for when its comes this month. Tamara

I do treat myself on my birthdays and even if it's not birthday I do treat myself. lol. I treat myself almost every month. hehehe. I go to a spa for a massage, to a salon for my hair and nails, I go to restaurants which are new to me. I buy shoes but not expensive ones. I do this to reward myself from hard work. On my birthdays That's the time for a celebration with my friends.

wow... i wish i can treat myself with a well-deserve vacation too. i do treat myself on a whole body spa, foot spa or something that i can pamper myself. but not over for as you know i have four children that if i spend too much for myself we might get hungry for a week. lol. i think you should always treat yourself at some point. it's a great thing to do and on your birthday sounds like a great time to treat yourself. and treating yourself to a vacation is a fabulous present!!

i normally do because its my birthday and i do whatever i want. my birthday was last week and i bought my self a tattoo and a tongue piercing, but took out the tongue already LOL, i personally do not like people getting me gifts i like to buy them myself

in the past 5 years only 2 times because when october rolls around we always seem to be broke it reminds me of my 7th or 8th birthday we my mom decided to get a cookie cake for my birthday and i didn't get any because everyone else was so greedy. thats my life though

I celebrate birthdays!even a simple celbration will do.. I love to celebrate special moments with my family. I make sure to have a simple gathering with our favorite food in the menu.. When it comes to my kids birthdys, It is always a big celebration.. :) HAppy new Year!

hi dolce_vita78, my dear friend, before anything, i would like to wish you a very happy birthday in advance. i never pampered myself on birthday but before marriage i use to do a nice outing, partying and what not. in the nnight dinner ofcourse with my dear and loving parents who brought me up by giving birth and making me study. i never gifted anything to myself. i love to recieve wishes, by phone calls, sms, e-mails whatever but i love them. i dont want too many gifts on my birthday but i love to receive wishes. i love black forest cake and i always cut black forest on my birthday. i spend lot of money on that day and because i earn, i dont have to ask my parents, so i enjoy more, because there is a feeling of independence.

Yes, I do treat myself during my birthday. If not on the exact date a week before or after. I go out of town or have a gig with my family. Travelling is one I like most. Just two weeks ago I was in one of the province here, 8 hours land travel to visit the celebration of a feast day. Its a nice place and I like the places where we passed by. Advance happy birthday!

Advance happy birthday, my friend. Me? I don't usually celebrate my birthday for I still find it impractical for we are 4 in the family that celebrate birthdays in just one month. But sometimes, if there is enough money, I do it, I dine in a restaurant with no one but me only, in my birthday.

I would like to do that. Treating myself with people that I love, or maybe just alone in my birthday is a means to show my grateful that I can pass another year of being myself. I would not only treat myself in my birthday, I would like to celebrate myself. I know that being older doesn't mean that I would be wiser. But as the self recognition of being older and knowing that the clock is ticking, I know that something should be done to myself. Treating yourself in your birthday isn't something bad. I think I deserve that to live my life, because living is hard :)

well, i will.... i will buy something to treat myself as a gift... i think it is good to give yourself a gift to make yourself happy... when you work, sure you will face a lots of problem... so, it is time for you to give yourself a gift to continue have the mood to work and have a happy life...

My birthday is tomorrow! An early happy birthday to you. I won't really be doing much, but I guess I'm going to just kind of sit around and be happy. A few people close to me have bought me things!

I do get something I always wanted on my birthday, just in case someone else did not buy it for me. I also get invited out by my friends, but I do not throw a party by myself. Usually it is getting something that I wanted like a DVd of my favorite show, a new dress, etc.because well there is my husband and it would not look right for me ordering a whole pizza or going to eat at a fancy restaurant by myself would it not? But gifts are another matter. Now I have until February to decide what to get for myself. Now what shall I get?

I do sometimes but not very often. I may buy myself something around my birthday if I did not get it from someone else as a gift or something. I usually skip over my birthday though.

I have always tried to treat myself and do something special on my birthday. As the oldest of five growing up with a sister just a year younger who seemed to get everything I did, etc, my birthday seemed the only thing that was mine. And I have tried to carry on the tradition of making it a special day every year to this day!

Not really. I remember my birthday was just an ordinary day last year because we were really busy with our short business then. This year, I would probably have to treat my co-workers to a meal. It is a tradition in our office to treat your office mates whenever someone celebrates his/her birthday.
