Do you get dissapointed when your star is at stalemate?

I got very frustertated when my star was at 9 I kept thinking what do I have to do to get to 10 stars. But I got to 9 stars with in a few months or less and then it took me half a year to get to 10 stars. I made it my goal to reach to 10 stars and one day when I saw the 10th star I was thrilled if you make good post you will get 10 stars to.

I don't ever pay attention to the star. I'm here to learn, to share knowledge, and to have fun. If my star goes up, down or away completely it makes me no difference.

I have had the same star rating of 83/100 forever. It hasn't changed for the last 6 months. I don't even know if mylot does anything with them anymore, as in maybe they aren't changing them anymore. I don't know, and to tell you the truth I don't really care anymore about my star rating. It doesn't seem to have any affect on our earnings or the number of people that respond to our discussions or comments on our responses. I would bet that most members here don't even look at them anymore. I would bet that most members here don't rate any of the discussions or responses they see, anymore. I know I have slacked off quite a bit. I used to rate everything I read but I don't anymore because then I found I was spending way too much time just reading and no time posting.

i was and i warned that blue star but i noticed that it is more of a headache than what it is all about and what it is intended for. anyone could bring your star down overnight but it would be so hard to bring it up to a perfect number. so i never mind of it anymore and don't give or pay much attention on that star already. what i know is that, my rating is always falling down. nevertheless, it won't affect your earnings anyway, so i don't make a big deal on it anymore.

I'm still displeased that I am at 8 and I haven't been able to get it up. I see so many people with a 9, and it gets me a little sad! I think it went down after I posted in Politics, then all the people who didn't like who I wanted to vote for[if I could] decided that I deserve a lower rating. They will get theirs! I can't believe it still is not back up though!

actually i never minded about the star. and i dont know for what star rating stands for too.. what is the use of star rating? i am asking seriously. because, i really dont know anything about star rating. is there any benefits on star and the no rating? any friends, if you see this question, please answer. but i am more intersted to have fun, chat and to have more friends in mylot that earning and rating.
