There is a discussion on mylot about the products from China.I've read it.It the aritcle, the writer said he is not against product from China or any other countries which i know clearly, but the Chinese are good in imitating the original products and in order to provide lower price products, they compromise the quality.
The only reason for him to say that in my opinion is that he bought an imitated IPhon with low price from Chian but some functions of it cann't work within 3 month(sorry for your loss). So that gave him a bad impression of Chinese product.Well,i think that's quite unfair. The phone or other things the writer bought is not good not only beacuse they are from China.Since he wannd offer a low price and buy an imitation,he has to accept the consequences.I mean the quality depends on the cost of the production.Even if he bought an imitation with the same price from other country,it couldn't be better.
And there are some responses said what Chinese people only care about is money, they only want to get into the proket by doing some gimmicks or stuffs.Apparently, they have bias on Chinese product and Chinese people.I think the most important reason there are many Chinese imitations in other countries is that there are many people need them and want to buy them there. They only offer low price or they'd like buy imitations with low price.

I have often believe that chinese products are one of the best. But to some who bought an imitation products and experience such a loss of money is understated. As you said people buy them, and most people knows for a fact that imitation products are not as good as the originals.
They are design specifically to imitate only, regardless of the quality, people still buy them because of the low price in the market. I mean who will buy such an inexpensive iphone and expect superior quality? There's always a setback.
But Chinese are good in business. They cater the demands of people. People loves to buy stuff and save. Like this friend of mine who likes branded bag, and buy fake gucci bag in the market for just $6. It doesn't matter if its fake or not. She knew it will wear off soon, but to have something new and stylish bag is all that matters to her.
My english hubby sunglasses was made in china. He didn't even know until I told him that a couple months ago. But he likes it and it's in good quality and he has been using it for 5yrs now.
Chinese products are everywhere, around the world. Some are of low quality, but there are still good ones with reasonable prices. I think Chinese products in general has given us an option. Some techy gadgets are one to avoid of, like you said... some functions may not work after a few months.
I used to have a nokia phone, a gift bought by my mum when she was in Taiwan. That was about 10yrs ago, and i still have it. The LCD wont function after 2yrs, and had it replaced. Then I never had any problems with that phone to this day.
I still believe that things will last long when you give them an atmost care. Pardon me for my long tirade. :D I usually like to share my thought on such an interesting post. Cheers hun!

Thank you for your response and sharing your thought.I quite agree with you.Of course there are some low quality chinese products, but that doesn't mean all the products from China is bad.The quality of the products someone would buy is mostly depends on how much he wanna spend. That's true one can't expect superior service with inferior payment.

Hey there! I think I've read that one too, 'even posted on it. It's not Chinese businessmen answers what the people wants. On my own view, of course with facts, most Chinese businessmen are doing it to for money. You can't deny it. It is a FACT. Most of the products, If not all, that are China made sold here in my country are substandard and disposable. Imagine they even put melamine on milk. That is too evil. Foods, clothes, toys, and other things has high chemical content. Their candies, chocolates, and clothes with formaldehyde, toys with very high lead content. So what I say to your question, are Chinese products really bad? What do you think?. Not only bad, but harmful. I'm not saying all of them, but most of them. So I never put my money on Chinese products. So for this comment.

i know what you mean.In fact ,there are really some products low of quality from China,i admit it,but not the most of products. And as you said chinese businessmen are doing it for money, yeah, that's right in some sense. But could you tell me is there any bussinessman from any country in the world who provides products not for earning money? All bussinessmen's aim is making more profits,no mather where they are from.

There are products from China that are bad and these are the products that people ingest like milk or toys with lead paint on them. There are some like clothes or shoes and material that is perfectly safe, but the shoes may be designed for China where it might not have heavy snow or a lot of rain in that area. So while they may make the shoes or clothes to sell over here, they make them for their climate and their situation. Also the people in the factories do not get good wages and work long hours and are very tired and so do not pay as much attention as they should.
Oh and do not forget that China is a Communist country and there may be those who are deliberately selling products that are dangerous because they hate
Western capitalism and there may be a couple of officials who let them get through.
So you just cannot say all Chinese are misunderstand and it is just a few bad apples in the bunch. It is just that there are some things I will buy that are Chinese made, like a couple of dresses I have, but something I will not, like milk powder.

i think chiese people are nice and friendly, they couldn't hate western people just beacuse they are in capitalism,it makes no sense.
There are many good and high quality products from china with reasonable price. As for the low price products,no mather where they are from, the quality wouldn't be high.

Well, alot of products from china are under attack these days so you cant really blame people for thinking that chinese products are bad. Since some of them are substandard and cheap, it's natural to say that they are bad because the materials used are below quality. But my concern is the melamine issue in milk products. I just dont get why they should put that very harmful ingredient in there.

I agree with you. The quality depends on the cost of production. If you cost less money to buy something, maybe the quality is not be very good. We all know the rules. The people always want to buy cheap things with a good quality. Aithough the quality is not so good, but it could satify the poor. So please do not complain
the quality of products.

China is a developing country with 1.3 billion population,so consider this precondition carefully before you make comments on this problem.
