I'm a member of Facebook. I used to spend a lot of time there but I have learnt to cut down on it. Facebook is the only place where I put a real pic of me on the net. I use avatar or my daughter's pics at other places. The reason why I put a real pic is that there are many people looking for me in Facebook, and if they are not sure whether that is really me or not, they may not add me as a friend. I have met old friends and colleagues there. I think it is a great site, but I have used it less nowadays.

Hi Ronaldinu, I am on Facebook, I originally joined last year but then put my account on hold as there was one woman in my daughters friends list that I didn't want knowing anything about me and felt it was an invasion somehow although I am told you can block things but don't know how. I have recently come back on as I wanted to wish a friends son a happy 21st birthday and have made more friends and some from here at myLot but I don't think I will stay, I keep getting sent silly quizzes and stuff and then mobile number is asked for and to send something you must open friends inof as well as yours and I won't do that so doubt I'll be back on it for long. Ellie :D

I joined up at facebook awhile again because a cousin wanted me too and she used it all the time and said that it was alot of fun! Yeah right I tell you I go so sick of receiving these stupid snow cones things and those silly eggs that hatch ... so boring even a little kid would get sick of them! so in the end i just deleted the account as I was sick of the email telling me to go look at the egg I just received......

I do have a facebook. And I feel its not invasion of your privacy because they only know what you tell them. You dont tell them anything they wont know. Simple as that. YOu can make new friends but its mostly to get reunited with old friends you might of went to school wit many years ago.

Yes, I have an account on Facebook. But, a picture of me is not on there. I have an avatar as a flower. I don't usually put photos of me on the Internet. It is too risky!! It is a good place to meet friends just as long as it is only for these purposes only. It is also a great way to connect on making money too!

I like to be able to see people's faces so that I can tell whether it's the same person that I know. After all, there are lots of people with similar names and when I do a search, come up with five names the same, can't see their picture or profile, I haven't a clue if it's who I am looking for.

I am a member of Facebook, but it is very rare that I log on to the site,in fact I think I may remove my name from the site now.I never seem to do anything there,I know that you can share photographs and play games etc,but it just never seems to happen.Like all social networking sites Facebook is as good as you want to make it,and I am afraid that I have neither the time or the inclination to continue any further with it.I think if you logged in each day and updated then it may be a little more interesting.

Yes I am on there but I very rarely visit this site and I never interact on it at all. To be honest I can't stand it! There is just way too much going on in that site and I don't understand 99% of it at all! lol. I know many people that are borderline obsessed with Facebook yet for the life of me I have no idea why? And it's only an invasion of your personal privacy if you put too much on there in the first place and allow yourself to get too caught up in all the widget crap. I find it all extremely annoying to say the least!

yes i belong to facebook and have pics on there...i don't have a pic of me personally just of my snakes, tats, etc...i am a private person when it comes to my pics or pics of my kids...they are reserved for very good on-line friends and not just any old site....as to an invasion of privacy..how could it possibly be? you joined...no one forced you to do it and you were the one to put any and all the information you wanted anyone to know on there..

I have a facebook account. I ever worked a little bit hard for it. However, I am still less interested in this website. Since it's homepage design isn't very convenient. I know it's a popular website, however, not many of my friends have accounts there. I feel alone. Therefore, I seldom visit it.

I have been on Facebook for a while now. It is ok, the the new interface is starting to grow on me. I don't accept any of those weird game things invites, even from my family!
I use it mainly as another method of trying to draw readership to my blog and to my writings on the Helium site.
I quite like the groups element to Facebook and have joined things like Amnesty International, Helium and a few others.
I too have found a lot of my friends and family use Facebook so I guess it becomes inevitable that if you want to keep in touch with what everyone is doing, Facebook seems to offer a workable solution.

I'm on facebook, and think it's a great place to find friends, and to stay in contact with family and old friends. I lived overseas the past two years, so it was great to be able to post everything on facebook, rather than having to write individual emails each time I wanted to let people know what was happening.
It can be a bit of a trap sometimes though if you get sucked into adding heaps of applications. You might find yourself spending most of your day on there, playing games, chatting and doing different quizzes.

I think FaceBook is amazing! I can keep in contact with my friends who I haven't seen for a while on there, and I just love it to be honest with you!
I think it's only an invasion of privicy if you make it so. It's up to you what you put on there, what kind of information, and who you add to your friends list, so I don't think that you can say it invades your privacy, when you yourself have to give individual people permission to view your profile. :)

I am on Facebook, but I much prefer MySpace. On MySpace, I can use whatever screen name I want. On Facebook they force you to use your real first and last name. But, I can't complain since I knew that going in. And I do NOT put my pictures on either site. I wouldn't want everybody to keel over in abject horror! ;)
