i am a product of teenage pregnancy and my mom did raise my for quite sometime until i reached the age of 6. after that, she got married and i was left under the care of my grandmother. i think during the times that i really needed the attention, love and guidance of a mother, it was my grandmother who gave me that. though my grandma gave me everything that a children will need i still long for my mom's love. while i grew old, i realized that i was not missing her and sad to say, i just don't care about her. now that i had a family of my own, i promised myself that i will keep my family intact no matter what. i don't want my kids experience the pains i've been through.

I think it is important for the kids to have their parents around, although your grandmother probably gave you a lot of love. It is good to ear that in your case you will give all the love to your kids.

of course. i wanted to make a difference. i don't want the judgmental and righteous people to celebrate their victory for proving their judgments right despite the fact that i was raised by my grandma and by my biological mother. it doesn't make any difference to me now as to who raised me. what matters is, i was raised properly. with respect, love, discipline, and most of all fear to God.
