mylot Mobile??

I thought of this when i was on a boring 24-hour train. it wud be so kool if there was a mobile version of mylot, just like orkut or facebook. WE cud then check our earnings, reply to and check discussions etc. - your thoughts and suggestions guys!

This sounds like a really good idea. The only problem I have with this is that I will probably spend even longer on here as it is a very addictive site...not that that's bad thing because I enjoy it but there's just not enough time in a day. 
I'm definately behing this idea though it would provide an extra oppotunity for many to access this site if they can't get to a computer with internet access.

If you have internet access on your phone, why couldn't you do that? I don't use it, but I thought it was available. If internet access is available, wouldn't you be able to access any site?

hey ldyjarhead, yes some phones can access all of the WWW but ofcourse, their internet connection speed is really slow. So, it takes much time. That's why sites develop a special version of their page which is lite and easy to browse so it can open up easily on all phones!

My understanding of mobile internet is that it works on a WAP text based system whereas here on the online version it works on a html version. Hope that makes a little more sense...it took me while to get my head round it.

I already access myLot through my iPhone about 90% of the time, like now. I rarely use my computer now--and with my phone, I can pretty much do anything. I don't think we'll see a true mobile version for myLot for some time. Facebook has MILLIONS of users, whereas myLot doesn't even have 150,000 yet. Give it time--I'm sure it'll happen once myLot gets more popular!

Right now, I'm HATING my iPhone! Actually, it's my ISP for my computer--I need to update the phone and I'm only allowed 200 megabytes daily to download (or I get locked out for 24 hours!). I swear, I've had several updates done (included a full reset by the Apple Store) and it's still not working 100%...I'm stuck in the contract though for another 13 months! But one day--myLot Mobile will be a reality!
