Do you shop at Sams Club or Costco?

Do you shop at either of these stores? Or any other warehouse club type business where everything is sold in bulk? Do you feel you truly get a better deal when buying from these places?
I live for Costco..lol. I only wish i had a bigger apartment, because i dont have space to put things like the 12 rolls of papertowels you can buy at once or the 60 rolls of bath tissue. When you break it down to per roll prices on items such as these, you do save in comparison to stoers like Kroger, Albertsons, even Walmart..so i love shopping there, just wish i had more space..lol\
Oh adn the 50 bucks a year it costs for a membership to these places, i usually can save that in my shopping in one or two trips..lol so very well worth it.
how about you?

Yeah, I shop at Sam's Club and I only live by myself. I held off joining these types of stores because it's only me I'm buying for. But, I find that they have great deals on some frozen vegetables, fresh spinach, cereals, and other things that it makes it worth going. I also like their Cafe, too. And, I've gotten appliances there, too. I don't use it for all my shopping, though.

My wife and I have a membership through her restaraunt she works at.
Comes in very handy with the savings by buying bulk.
Luckily I have a lot of storage space for things like paper towels, toliet paper etc. I can only imagine thwe money we've saved ion all the years we've shopped at Sams.

Yes I love to shop at Sams but I have never shopped at Costco. I have some advice for you. Go to sams/costco with another person and buy what you need and split the cost half and half. Now you dont have alot of things. Or you could do it with three people or four people and split the cost.

I shop and Costco because my mom put me on her membership for Costco. She has one for both Costco and Sams Club. I don't mind, as long as I can get what I need. I don't go there to often since every time I go there I end up spending almost $100 and we can't always afford that much. BUT I love the Costco gas now since its the cheapest around.

i go with Costo, my whole family go shop at Costo mostly because we can buy a large packet of stuff instead of a lot of the same stuff. and Costo only sell like one or two brand of the same product, yea even tho there is a membership fee, i think is worth it

Hi faln_angel1205
Are you still a member of Costco? The reason why I ask that is that you said "I don't have the space to put things like the 12 rolls of paper towels etc" I was just wondering if you ever considered selling the surplus that you have. Even if you sell the rolls for 1 cent each and you can cover the postage/delivery costs you have to be in profit.

My wife has a membership at Sams CLub through her restaraunt.
We shop there each weekend for staples like bread, jmilk, eggs, coffee cream butter etc. There is just myself, my wife, and my dad but we give a lot to our son and her family and sometimes to our son if and when he visits. I love buying in bulk, it sure saves cash at the register.

Unfortunatley I don't have one of those where I live so I can't shop there. It sounds great though and a great way to economize, I might have to lobby for them to build one in my area.

I do not do a lot of shopping because I am not a big shopper but me and my fiance will go with mother sometimes when she does the shopping,or we might run and pick up a few things she needs because she does not have time to go to the store, she does have a Sam's Club card and she does shop there from time to time, but she does not go there very often, since it is another county, and there is a Wal Mart that is a lot closer so it is cheaper to go to Wal Mart then to use the extra gas to go all the way to Sam's Club.

No I don't shop at these places, I have been with my sister she shops at Sams Club, like you I really don't have space for these bulk packages, plus I live along and it is only me and I feel like I don't need that much of any one item. I would like to have a membership and one day I am going to get one. My daughter just mentioned this and we are thinking of getting a membership to Sam's Club together.

I shop at BJ's wholesale. It is money saving in the long run, and I like buying in large quantities because then I have a supply so I don't have to go to the store again for a while.
