How much do you spend on one hunting season?

Deer season just opened up. So far (for just this season) my husband has spent almost $700! He's paid dues for his hunt club, bought a new stand, arrows, tips for the arrows, new camo, new gun, bullets for the gun, food plots, feeder, corn for the feeder, and I'm sure there are a few more things I'm missing. He goes through this every year when deer season opens up. Is that normal or should I start hiding the money?

Hey KC,
Well I hate to bust your bubble but if your husband bought all that he spent a lot more then $700 I spent $1500 on a new rifle alone. I'm a hunter and let's face it there are a lot worse things your husband could be doing so don't get on the guy to much about it,let him enjoy the time he has with his friends and spending time in the woods. My wife rags on me at times I've been married 23 years but I still go I think it's just a game she likes to play. And ifyour husband is like most men we do think of our family first so I'm sure he wouldn't spend tthe money if he couldn't afford it.
