never around when you need`em, always there to arrest you when you do something wrong no matter how trivial it may be... I hate the police...

well sorry for ur loss, my police came to question my cousin about a robbery, he wasn't there but someone said he was so they tried to make him confess, but finally he was able to prove he wasn't there. but a lot of cops abuse their power, my uncle used to be p.d. then sargeant, now investigations, he's a good guy, he's awesome!

thats great, my brother works with the sheriffs office here too and is great but alot do over use the power they have. even my brother and a freind that grew up with my hubbys brother that also works with them says more should of been done and thinks something is funny, anyway they will know when the state gets in this lol.. glad your cousin was innocent

Ours isn't too bad. There isn't too much crime around here and the criminals are getting caught so they are doing a good job.

our local police department works very hard and are very short handed, they need more police detectives to assist them and this is a very small town

I've always had a problem with the unusually high salaries of the police departments in my area. I could never understand why police who are responsible for patroling mainly upper class white neighborhoods with minimal amounts of crime should be paid so much money while cops who risk their lives everyday working in the inner city are barely being paid wages sufficient to live on. I fear that this phenomenon is indicative of both complacency and corruption.
