Wearing unmatched shoes.

Have you ever gone to work with an unmatched pair of socks or shoes?
Many years ago when I was a trucker I had to show a guy the route to a certain place. I arrived in the yard to find him sitting in my truck waiting to go. I did the necessary checks to the truck before leaving the yard and off we went.
After a few hours we arrived at our destination and he jumped out and met me round the back of the truck. I was curious because only one of his shoes made a sound on the ground. On looking I saw he had a brown shoe on one foot and a black one on the other. He was quite embarrassed and said he got up on the quick and just put on the first shoes he found!
Have you ever done that?

I have never actually done that but there have been a few times when I have almost gone out wearing my slippers. I remember once when I was collecting my son from school and his teacher was standing by the school gate watching all the children leave the school grounds. I don't know what made me look at her feet but she was wearing a pair of high heeled shoes and I noticed that the heel on one shoe was faily pointed and the heel on the other shoe what fairly thick. I wonder if any of the children had noticed this during class but I didn't mention it to my son just in case he mentioned it to the other lads or worse still to his teacher.

I have never done that LOL. I would be so embarrassed. I guess those thing happen when people get in a big hurry. I have had mismatched socks before though.
