i think Kimbo Slice is an owesome fighter if he go to be a wrestler not an mma fighter. The last fight felt me he lost every of his career as he fall down like a tear drop from the sky and want to go back again to its original place.
Is Kimbo is a joke?
I dont think so, he just need to be norture to become a better mma fighter. Sooner or later thing may change and for Kimbo, rise your flag!!!

Kimbo Slice is way too much overrated and it was shown on the fight. But still, we can't deny the fact that this guy has a potential in becoming a great MMA fighter, I do think this guy has a potential. Well, we can't also ignore the fact that Bas Rutten saw the talent within this guy. I think this guy needs to evolve to be a MMA fighter. He has an excellent power in both of his hands and a little tweaking from Bas, this guy will have a phenomenal stand-up. He doesn't need to be a complete fighter, he just need to know the in and outs of MMA to establish a good defense against take downs and submission and excel on the part where he is good at - knocking his opponents out. Well, reality bites, it's just that his not yet the fighter that will dominate MMA today, but i have my eyes on this guy.

yeah i got a thought. Kimbo is very overrated and the expectations for him by EliteXC are just to great. Not takeing anything away from his desire or apprectation for the sport of MMA but its just to much to soon for him. People thought he was the second coming for Fedor when that truely wasnt the case. It showed in the James Thompson fight. Finding out that Shamrock had been pulled and Petruzelli was the replacement spelled doom for Slice. He needs more time to develope and less pressure put on him to be the face of EliteXC. Bas Rutten will mold him into a contender in time but its just to early right now.

Yes sir, I agree with you. But let me say this, there was no time for Mr. "Superstar" to develop. He WAS one of the biggest "celebrity" type people any MMA had to offer. The non mainstream fans (Such as myself), knew him. Maybe he belonged in the WWE, were they could fix his fights and he could win every single time. He was too big of a superstar so even though Shamrock was pulled out, Kimbo Slice, the main attraction, was gonna fight somebody. It would have been a better move on their part to have him fight me, let him whoop my a**, then they wouldn't be out their biggest payday. So you are absolutely right, he's friggin overrated anyways. But just in the off chance he reads this, sorry Mr. Slice, please don't kill me, you're still cool. And you could beat the h*ll out of me.

This is what happens when someones created a reality and image and then runs into everyone elses reality. Kimbo Slice (Kevin Ferguson) is a 34 year out MMA Promoters wet dream. He is a street credited fighter that gained notiriety via youtube, trained a bit with Bas Rutten and went pro. Petruzelli landed a NICELY timed right and brought down the big brawler.
I think Slice had it coming and you could see in his eye and voice when they announced Shamrock was out how dejected he felt. At 3-1, he will come back ... so we all think. Slice is human, and a quick right hand from a semi-unknown UFC fighter further proved that.
