First i will look on my interests. May be in my interest somthings i dont have any idea. So i leave it. Then i will look for top discussion. And then for my friends discussion. Afterwards i will start a new discussion

Generally, I check out the discussions I posted first to see if I need to make any replies. Then I go to those I responded to for the same reason. After that I check all the no response discussions because I personally don't like not getting responses so I like to help others get at least one response. After that I check both my friends discussions and the top discussions. If I am still looking for topics I will go to my interests after that. I figure that "new" "recent" and "hot" are redundant tabs so I don't generally even go there. I never search for a topic.

I prefer to read my friends posts first, than I proceed to read other posts which attract my interest. Sometimes I even try to answer posts with no responses.

I used to answer today's top and recent discussion. until I discovered that a lot of nice topics are posted under "no responses" . Most of the time, I don't wander on the today's topic anymore. Sometimes, I just read other people's responses and rate their posts.

I like the no responses section best too. Part of the reason is that you can count on not having 20 or 30 responses already posted so you don't have to worry about duplicate responses. But mostly, I think there are a lot of good topics in there much of the time. One of mylots best kept secrets I guess.

I have the sorties on my home page set up in this order: Today's Top Discussions Discussions From My Interests Discussions My Friends Started New User Discussions I continually refresh my home page and go down the row of those areas and see what topics pique my interest. If they are repetitive and/or nothing catches my eye, I look at the interest areas across the top of the page and pick those that usually have a lot of activity and scan the topics on the first page or two of those.

I have the sorties on my homepage but have not used them often. They don't seem to get me anywhere. So I just use the tabs at the top of the page.

i first sort out those that i have email notification and along the way, if i'm going to stumble some interesting discussions then i go over it and reply (which often happen) before going back to my emails. after that i browse from new discussions in my interests and from there, i already used up all my time in myLot. seldom that i go around other topics before i'm finished in my own interests. so far i never used the search bar for topics to reply. there's already enough for me in my interest and in my friends discussions.

off is default in the system and you have to manually turn it on to receive notifications. anyway, if that's what makes easier for you then go on with it. everyone has it's own way of doing things and you have a point of not cluttering your email add with this notification.

I hate email notifications so I probably turned it off when I joined because I have never gotten any. I don't like my email clogged with a bunch of stuff like this. I just do all my mylotting right from the mylot site. It just works better for me that way.

For me, a lot of it depends on the type of mood I am in, and where I might have left off the last time. Right now I am answering discussions that have been started in the myLot interests, and then going to go from there. It can be quite interesting when you just jump around from time to time finding discussions to post back too and learn about others and New things in here as well.

I have been on mylot for over five months now and I am very happy with all the discussions that I can find to respond to,whenever I get on mylot I always check my earnings, and then check the discussions I have started, then I will start browsing for more discussions to respond to,I will usually start with the discussion from my interests because that is always a good way to find discussions to respond to,and then I will go to discussions my friends started because that is another good way to find a lot of good discussions to respond to.
