Well now I just read what your sons have said.... Only YOU know how you feel.... While your sons obviously love you, have they spoken with the doctor? If you really don't know whether you want to do this test, PLEASE delay it and have your sons speak with the doctors.

thank you for your prayers. the doctor told me i had 3 blockagesin my hrat & he wanted mr to have a catherization done to see what needed to be done. sometimes they put in stents, sometime they do opem heart surgery.

i ended up putting it off. my dad passed away & 20 days later my aunt passed away. my sons didn't want me to go have it, i think it was everybody passing that scared so i haven't had it yet. i do appreciate your mrssage. greetings from tennessee.

heidi, i love your name. i appreciate all your cncern. my sons have just shocked the fire out of me. they don't want me to have the cath. why they have waited till tonight to tellme i don't know. now i don't know what to do. they think the dr. is putting me through too many tests just for the money. jo

Are they going to the hospital with you tomorrow? Could you call your Dr. in the morning and have a meeting with all of you before the surgery? My friend recently called me with classic heart attack symptoms and said she couldn't come to a meeting at church. I talked her into going to the hospital. She had a heart cath done to check for blockages and everything came out clear. I'm telling you this because she was thankful she had the test anyway. She was so glad that she now knew that her heart was doing great (she had had a heart attack several years back) Her husband was also saying what your sons are saying. But she was still glad that she went in. The worrying was horrible and now she knew. A second opinion is not a bad idea either but if you've trusted your doctor in the past and/or you are having symptoms of heart problems, I'd go and do it. Dear heavenly Father, Please give Jo the wisdom to do what you want her to do. Help her to make a decision with or without the approval of her sons. Help her to have a peace about any decision you reveal to her. In Jesus' Precious Name, Amen.
