Would You Start A Discussion In A Misspelled Interest?

there are a lot of misspelled interest that are REALLY bad.. i am sorting through my interests in hoping to narrow down how many i have and some are just insane.. so i decided im gonna drop all interest that are misspelled..
its not like there arent 10 others for the same subject anyways.. i figured people would want to post in the correct one more anyways..
what do you think?

I've never thought to look and see if I had misspelled interests. I'm going to go look through mine in a few minutes and get rid of any that are :P
Misspelled words annoy me, badly. haha

i am the worst speller on the earth which is why i felt almost like a hypocrite in posting this but i noticed that i had 20 interest for "asthma" but all spelled differently.. such as
asma
athma
astma
atma
etc
so i figured anyone that would want to post about asthma would know to spell it right which would make me think that the correct spelled one would have more post and etc etc

Well, I have seen this all of the time in here. Sometimes it could be just by accident that something is added with a mispelled topic or interest, and then there are those who are from other countries that may not know the correct spelling is why they are there as well. I go in and clean up my interests areas from time to time as well, and feel it never hurts. Just wish myLot owners sometimes would or could go in and do the same.

yeah i think some is accident and etc i just figure i would stick with the one that is spelled correctly and will show up when searched for.. and god i wish mylot would clean it up!! we dont need 100 of this and 28 of that!! i just wish they would combine it all under one and then you wouldnt have to worry about missing out on something

I will not start discussions in misspelled interests. If I want to start a discussion in "that" interest, I'll turn around and start a new interest, even if it's only the same interest spelled correctly.

god i spent a whole night going through mine and even just getting rid of duplicates that were correctly spelled but some of them have nothing really in them so i just got rid of those.. i still have WAY too many but it just amazed me how many were misspelled or stupid named that i had picked up here and there by adding some one else's interest with their discussion!!

I hadnt ever thought of it but Now I'll take not of the spelling and just use the correct spelling interest. I wish when you created a discussion you could put it in any interest even if its not in your interest list. Sometimes theres something one must say about something but really has no other interest in the subject.
