I have a craving for a good beef hot dog every once in awhile with green relish, onions, sesame seed bun and mustard. The good o'l Chicago Dog. I'm up here near the Northwest By Albany Park and sometimes drive down Lawrence to Byron's Hot Dogs to feed my appetite. What about you guys? What are other great hot dog joints in town that you visit and/or know of and where can I find it? Please specify how you eat your dog as well. :)

Hands down, the best hot dog in Chicago is a Wrigleyville Dog. There is no competition. It might be a bit of a drive for you but it's definitely worth it. Here's the address.

PORTILLOS :)
There are a couple in your general area - although I believe the closest would be the one in Skokie - which is about a fifteen minute drive.
