Is it safe and secure to use Online Money Transfer? / myLot

I heard somewhere that some sites recommend and advise to use online money transfer as well as PayPal. I want to know that online transfer is secure or not like PayPal? As in online money transfer we have to give our account no. I think when we give our account no. to others they can use it and our money can go in others hands. Please suggest me can I go for online money transfer? How much secure is online money transfer?

It doesn't matter if you give out your account number as long as you don't give out your password. Most money transfer sites are safe, which one are you thinking of using?

Thanks for your comment. Im thinking of using this on every site which I use to make money online. It may be any site of them.
