I often see people who have the tendency to compare their lives with others ! I really don't think this is right thing to do! Every individual is a different in natute and because of this every individual tends to have a different life styles!
It is unwise thing to compare oneself either with neighbourer or some friends or collegegues and feel envied about their achievements or Successes in Life! One should I think be satisfied and be contended with the possessions what he/she posesses ! It is not good to feel jelous about others by comparing ourselves with others ! If at all one wants to compare, I personally feel that one should compare himself/herself with those people who are in bad state than us. May it be physically or . Then immidiately one will realise that he is much better than many
people who are suffering on day today basis for some or other reasons.Just think about physically handicapped people, people suffering from Chronic Diseases, think about the people living on foot paths! Then one will realised that the God has been very hind to him/her and he/she is really lucky to have been in the present position. One should remember that we alwayshave people who are having worst sitution than us in general and I personally feel that we should draw inspiration from these people! These are my personal feelings and opinions ! How about you ? What do you think? Please respond ! Thanks!

Yes, this used to be me on a regular basis until I eventually got into the habit of accepting myself. I would always think of myself as being less significant than someone else and I guess I attribute this to having low self-esteem at the time. I eventually left this habit behind once I started to focus on self-help books and how you should always think highly of yourself, how you should find self-acceptance! As regards possessions and things yes, I am very grateful for what I have in my life and I give thanks every single day. I now believe in myself and I no longer need to compare myself with others, this trait will remain in my distant past! Andrew

I do what I can to not compare my life with others. It's like you said we all lead different lives and have different things that makes our lives special. We may be looking at someone else's life wishing we had what they had, but there could be someone looking at ours wishing they had what we had. I do everything in my power to appreciate the things that I have in my life and not take things for granted.
