What was your proposal like?

when my husband first visited me in the Philippines...he told me that before he goes back to iraq he'll buy me an engagement ring. i just rolled my eyes at him coz i dont really believe since it was the first time we met in person. then when we went to the mall, he just grabbed my hand and went straight to a jewelry store. he asked me what i want as engagement ring. i was so shocked but he keeps insisting that i pick my ring. so i picked the smallest ring coz i dont want him to spend so much for me. he didn't like it so he asked the sales ladies to bring out the nicest rings there is. he saw one and i loved it. i didnt say i want the ring coz i was so shy. i grabbed his hand and went out of the door. since he's taller and bigger he carried me back to the store. we were catching everyone's attention. sheesshh. so he picked the ring that he knew i loved a lot and went down on his knee to propose to me. everyone who's watching us including the sales ladies are all smiling. they told me i'm so lucky for having him. i told them that i am really lucky and there's no way i'll let him escape from me. i told them a shotgun wedding is already prepared. everyone just laughed. that's my story :)

Oh, you're gonna make us guys look bad aren't you? I just simply proposed to my sweetie on one knee in my apartment, nothing fancy, no cameras, no hype. Just a simple romantic.

Ok here is mine my best friend & his wife I were Playing D&D their names are Mahlon & Dawn well anyway dawns half sister starded playing too. i tried getting them to hook me up with a date with steph. they said she was interested in someone else. steph wound up moving in with them & shortly after we started dating i moved in about a month later. well dawn & mahlon & me and steph started looking for a a bigger place. dawn was joking around and said that we should get married to save 25 dollers on every credit check. we looked at each other and said sure. well the next day we went to south dakota to get married i thought hay it was a break from work so i would play along figuring steph would back out and that would be that. well steph tought the same thing. but neither of us backed out we have been married 5 years now.
