I'm not so sure if my reply to your question would be appropriate because you didn't specify in which area or field of specialization you mean to know the answer here; but I hope this helps. If it is a movie that you're referring to, it would mean that the show consists of two movies in one showing. If it is about a loan application, 'back-to-back' would mean that the loan applicant or borrower has to open a deposit account which will serve as a guaranteed payment for the loan he or she has applied for, if this is approved. If it is about a sports activity, it may mean that the player has a buddy in the game. Anyway, regards and until next discussion. Ciao!

essentially it means; one follows IMMEDIATLY after another. like the person above says...2 movies playing One Right After Another on the same screen without a break inbetween them would be "back to back" another great example is when you are watching tv. when they show a 5 minute block of commercials. those commercials are "back to back" (one right after another).

I know you must need the chinese meaning about the word .I will give you some example.acctually, the word 'back-to-back' is an adjective .it means "????;?????”in chinese.for example,Stand back-to-back and we will see which of you is taller(?????,???????????????).do you understand now?
