McDonalds use an oil called "peanut oil". You will need 5 cups of this. Then add 2 tablespoons of honey. I dont know the exact temperature but i know thats the mixture. The make julienne slices of potato (about the size of what you would get from McDonalds then fry your chips or "French Fries".
I hope this helps,

I don't think it is possible. They must use a certain oil. And a measured amount of salt. I don't know what kind of oil. It might be fun to try.

Well, I can't really cook french fries the way McDonalds do it but we do have french fries at home and it is really delicious. I think we cannot really copy the fries of McDonalds since it is their top secret but if we want to enjoy good french fries, we must start by having good potatoes first.

Hello there! I worked in a competiting fastfood company of Mcdonald's and we just have the same vision--to beat the great taste of their frenchfries! We have been beating their other products; spaghetti, softserve/sundaes, etc. but we just can't beat the fries! We have the same supplier of potatoes, we're also using the Frymaster but just hmhmh! The're just good!
