I like to read mysteries or general/women's fiction. Maybe something with a bit of romance but not romance novels, per se. Right now I am all hyped up with the books I have nearby. I started reading a book by an author I met a couple of years ago. He autographed the book to me. I had met him one-on-one when he was critiquing my work.
On Friday I went to an event where 3 authors spoke. I purchased one book and met the author, intrigued by the fact that the family he writes about in the book has the same last name as my maiden name, the name I am writing under. Of course he signed the book.
And now today, I finally got in my hands the biography of Elmer Iseler. He was a choral conductor who, at my father's urging many years ago, started up a choir called the Festival Singers, later called The Elmer Iseler Singers. Elmer passed away several years ago but the choir continues with another conductor. My father's name is mentioned several times in the book, and his photo appears a couple of times as well (my father passed away 2 1/2 years ago). The author signed it to me indicating his appreciation for all my father did for making this story happen. I am over the moon right now.
So, I can't wait to finish Wayson Choy's "All That Matters" and move on to Joseph Boyden's "Through Black Spruce" and then "Elmer Iseler: Choral Visionary". I apologize to those I promised to read Janet Evanovich and James Patterson next. They are going to have to be put on hold.

I actually am not in the middle of a regular book right now i do have a Racheal Ray cookbook by the bed that i have been looking at. I have been doing crossword puzzles the last few nights. I am however waiting for an Inspector Lynly novel to arrive, i can't wait to get it! I love the mystery theater programs based on the books so i know that i'll enjoy the books even more.

I love reading! I'm a definate bookworm. I will usually read anything I can get my hands on. Right now I'm into murder mystery type books, I never was much into them and my aunt gave me one and I loved how it kept me wanting to know more. So lately that has been my main area of intreast.

I love reading, especially those that are very interesting for me. Whenever i see a book and just a glance from it i can tell if i love to read it or not. But as of this moment i fount this very interesting book from a book store, it's a local book and i love it. It's a computer-related novel and i love it. =D

hi wangkai,
Lately, I have discovered David Morrell's books in the public library that I am often visiting now.I have read, "The Brotherhood of the Rose","The League of Night and Fog", "The Fraternity of the Stone","The Fifth Profession","The Covenant of the Flame" and I am currently reading, "Extreme Denial". I like his books as much as I like the books of John Grisham, Nora Roberts, JK Rowling, D.Francis and Nicholas Sparks. I like reading fiction most.
happy myLotting!
