Cassava cake or banana cake??

I love to eat both of it.. Cassava cake is mainly prepared as a dessert.. It is also steamed and eaten plain.. Sometimes it is steamed and eaten with grated coconut.. The most popular dessert is cassava cake or pie,which uses grated cassava,sugar,coconut milk, and coconut cream.. Cassava is a woody shrub that is extensively cultivated as an annual crop in tropical or subtropical regions for its edible starchy tuberous root, a major source of carbohydrates..
Banana cake is a type of bread that contains mashed yellow bananas.. Banana bread is usually a quick bread, a sweet,cake like-bread which typically uses baking soda as the leavening agent instead of yeast..
How about you?? Do you love to eat cassava cake or banana cake??

Oh I am fond of Cassava cake. I love every kind of Cassave cake. I like eat better than banana cake, but I also eat banana cake esp. the ones prepared by Red Ribbon. :D

I like them both. But between the two I eat more often the cassava cake.

I love to eat both banana bread and cassava cake. They are both good and I like to eat those desert. But it has been a long time that i was not able to eat cassava cake. Here in US you can hardly find ready to make cassava unless you will go to the Asian market. But banana cake you can make a lot of them because there are plenty of bananas in the grocery store like Walmart and any other markets. so, I made myself a banana cake.. but I never make cassava yet. I love them both they are very good..

these are two very different kinds of cake. I love both. I love cassava because it is very filling. And I know almost everybody love banana cake because of its delicious aroma. I'm getting hungry already just thinking about it.

i like cassava cake than banana cake because i like its color and texture, and the smell. i do not know why every time i smell the banana cake my stomach doesn't sound good lol sorry. but i do love banana, just not the cake. here in manila, i rarely eat cassava cake because i cannot just buy anywhere coz i might get some disease, so its kinda expensive to buy it in food courts.

I like both but most banana cakes are sweeter than cassava cake. If I choose only one I'd go for the cassava cake and doesn't need flour when flour is not cheap anymore :) CAssava cakes are much truly filipino than banana cake even if bananas are readily available here.
