What fun things would you have planned for the night?
Would there be movies and midnight feasts, staying up all night etc? Or would we have to be in bed by ten!
I used to go and stay at friends occasionally as a child, not very often though as I was not always allowed too. When I did it was not all that much fun as we were never allowed to do anything!
Did you have lots of sleepovers when you were younger?
What sorts of things would you do and what is the best sleepover you can remember?

I used to have friends over or go to their houses quite a lot for sleepovers when we were younger. We used to get sweets and a video from the videoshop to watch, then we'd sit and gossip or playing stupid games til god knows what time in the morning!! hehe I occasionally have friends over to stay now, either because they have come up to preston from my hometown to visit or they have drunk too much to drive home!! We usually put our pyamas on and snuggle up on the sofa with a chinese takeaway and a scary film! I guess i'll never grow up!hehe

Since I was in boarding I never gt the chance to go and stay in my friend's house..They were always there with me..But in our dorms our matrons used to go to the town every friday evening as their dayoff used to be the next day and we all exchanged our dorms to meet our friends in other dorms..it was great fun as nobody stopped us from breaking rules!!!
We used to stay awake for a lng time at night having a feast with whatover food we had and teling ghost stories and all...

I cannot imagine what it was like to have to go to a boarding school, although my Dad used to threaten me with it when I was naughty. It sounds like you had some fun though!

I satyed in boarding for fifteen years and trust me those were the best days of my life..Fun,Independence,Rules and the getting punished for breaking them..Standing outside for being late and having fun there..playing pranks on the teachers...going for outing..social night(our was a girls school and on this night boys and girls from other school used to come together to party without any restrictions from the Sisters or Father)..Boarding is not bad...

I am a 51 year old woman and I have to be in my own bed to sleep. I can't fall asleep if I am not in my own bed. I have a girlfriend that lives about 45 minutes away from me, in a small town, and everytime I go visit her she bugs me to sleep over and I can't, so I drive home. She doesn't understand why I have to be in my own bed, but that is just the way I am.
When I was a child I used to go to sleep overs quite often. They were fun although we weren't allowed to stay up too late. It was usually for a birthday party and so there were quite a few of us sleeping over. I never had any sleep overs at my house because my father was an alchoholic and violent so I wouldn't want my friends to see that.

I know a lot of people that cannot sleep unless they are in their own beds, so that is not unusual. I am glad you got to go to a few fun sleepovers.

If you came over for a sleepover, we would watch some movies, maybe play some music and dance around all silly. We might play some Wii. We'd eat junk food like popcorn, pretzels, and maybe candy and cookies. We might have some adult beverages. We would stay up until we couldn't keep our eyes open anymore and, since I am a night owl, that would be long after 10 PM. LOL! And, if you can think of any other activities you want to do, just let me know and I can add it to our list of silly and fun things to do while you and I have our sleepover.
When I was a kid, I had sleepovers and went to sleepovers. We would goof around and just be silly all night long. We would stay up way past the time our parents told us to go to bed just talking and giggling.
I don't have a favorite memory of a sleepover. At least, not that I can think of right now.

Oh yeah adult beverages sound good, cant beat a bit of the adult pop! I love eating junk food, there is nothing quite like it while watching a film! We could even try and stay up the whole night!

If your a girl then your always welcome, if your a guy then i must say excuse me because im still living with parents , here guys cannot stay with girls unless if they are their husbands :) , its our culture , not even as a friend they are allowed .So if your a guy im so sorry you can come only in the morning and leave my home in the evening itself , and one more thing if your a girl then you can come to my home we can have lots of fun but then we have to be in our bed at 11 lol.. because my dad wont allow more us to be playing and having fun after 11 :)

I only got to go to one sleepover when I was growing up. It was a slumber party. It was very fun. If I had one at my house, we would play games on the playstation, ride four wheelers, have lots of snacks and light some candles at night time and may even camp outside.

There would be lots of horror/zombie films, and of course midnight feasts, and staying up all night! I make sure parents are not in the house because that would kill so much joy.

I LOVED sleepovers. I was usually allowed and we did all kinds of fun stuff. We would watch movies stay up super late some times over night and when we got over we would go out for long walks in the town and just walk all around. Sometimes I would stay out with my boyfriend and then go to a friends house, then have some more fun playing on the computer. Sleepovers rocked and thats why I let my child have them regularly. She has a friend over and they watch movies play video games and play on the computer...I get lots of junk for them to eat. Then around 11 I would send them to my daughterrs room and they can play and talk and stuff. I think it is one of the funniest things of growing up.

No I have not gone for sleepover night to any of my friends house, becoz all friends were staying near to my house and we used to stay late night having fun and playing then we used to go our home after that. even when we are in 10th grade we used to sit late night for studying and while studying we used to play fun to get rid of the boredom and after completing the studies we used to go to our house. We gather not only in particular house but in different house one one day and we used to have food and sncks also. If you come to stay over now to my house I can offer good dinner and have films overnight. Have a nice day.

I only did a couple sleepovers
when I was a kid, but they were
always fun.
If you were to visit for a sleepover
we'd make popcorn and stay up till 2am
(at least!) watching SAW and other horror
movies.

I would grab a couple of movies and loads of junk food. I would also dig out the PS2 and wii, play a few different games on them tand then fall asleep as and when.
I didnt go to many sleepovers but when I did, we would watch tv and then when it was late or we were sleepy we would go to bed, chat for abit until one of us fell asleep.

We had a New Year's sleep over when I was in High School. First all the boys and girls came and the party was great. Then the boys had to leave about 1am when their parents came to get them. My four brothers were in their rooms. But the party was music and a pool table, my two oldest brothers played the Trumpet and the Saxaphone. There was so much food and drinks and back then there were no movies other then the ones on TV. But we girls stayed awake giggling till we finally fell asleep. It was funny the boys were teasing us that they were going to scare us so we were waiting for it, but out of the blue the decorations started falling down and in the dark everyone started screaming. Well my dad came out of his room and started to yell at the boys but when we turned on the lights we saw the decorations. We all started laughing and then everyone went back to bed. It was the best and only sleep over I can remember.
