Please describe how much you are spending on your children for Christmas, what are you buying them, and why you are spending as much or as little as you are.

Well, if you count the house we bought so she could have a backyard, we've spent about $92,000 on her so far. As for smaller gifts, it really depends on how much money we have, which probably won't be much.

Thank you for your response. We are looking into buying a house for our children, so I understand. After the purchase of a home (down payment, inspections, etc.) it's hard to have money left over.

The things I want to get my kids would total about £50 each I think. Unless you count some clothes I've already bought them, that would bump the total up to about £100 each. I'm hopefully going to get my baby a Duplo table and an electronic guitar and I think I'm getting my older son a planetrium and maybe a R/C car. I don't want to get them too much because they've got so much already and will be spoilt by grandparents!

Thank you for your response. Yeah, my in-laws buy all the big stuff like play sets, power wheels, and furniture. My son is definately spoiled!
