Do you care about our future generation?

End of the world - This is the end of the world.

Minutes ago I responded to a topic which asked what do you think the world will be in 100 years. In my mind I thought, what the world will be is up to us who lives right now. Our actions now can have an effect on what the world will be a hundred years from now. Some people are just busy fixing their lives at the moment that they have forgotten what effect it would cause our future generation. My question is simple. Do you care about our future generation? Do you want them to live on a beautiful earth? Or are you one of those who say that "I would be dead by then, I have my own life to fix".

I do beleive alot of people fight to make the world a better place for the future. BUt then to look back on the last 100 years. we have came along way in some fields and no help in other fields. SOme times I wonder what my grand mother would think of this age we are in now. with computers and web cams where ya can see who you are talking to. the cell phone were we can be any where and talk to any one. When she was alive the phone she had was a party line and you picked up the phone on your ring. and then others too could listen in if they wanted too. Glad that dont happen any more lol. AS she had been a teacher I wonder just what she would teach now/

True. we don't know what would happen in the future. Many significant changes would happen. I am just hoping it would be for the better.

I really believe we are living in the "end times" and that in 100 years the world as we know it will no longer be here. We are studying the book of Revelation in our bible study . Many of the prophesies have been fulfilled or we can see how they can be fulfilled in the near future. Therefor I believe that in 100 years the world as we know it will be replaced by the perfect world we are promised at the return of Jesus Christ.

i care what the world would be like in 100 years. i care about the future of all of my family and no family members. I want this to be a world my great grandchildren are happy to be apart of. and i am doing that every single day with my thoughts and deeds. i am leaving loving thoughts in the minds of all of those i met and with that i hope those thoughts are gifts they give to others. Actions are important to help the world become the beautiful, but with thoughts of love and forgivness, this world would be breath-taking

I do care about future generations. I believe that we should do what we can to take care of the earth. I am raising my own children to be responsible adults since in a few years the future will be up to them, not me.

I do care very much about future generations. I try to do my bit to help the earth and have also installed in my children that they should also do their bit as well. I hope that they will also encourage their children, if they have any, to do the same.

Everyone should do their part in maintaining our home. We might not know it but we are also causing some of the damage.

I do care about our futur generation , because they are our sons , and as fathers , mothers , grand-fathers and grand-mothers we must keep this earth clean and safe for them as did our grand-grand-father before. Being slef-fish won't resolve any problem , because we will be the first Damaged from what we do , destroting the envirenment will purchass us first from earth and take the right of life of our future children without they know or protest against our bad habbies ( bad experiences :nuclear tests , petorl wars , COS2 products ..) So , the only solution that we can give , is making end for our desires of being richest and strongest , and starting thinking about new ways wich do not pollute and putting some real punishments , if rules would be broken out . Sharing this world, is one of raisons of our being ,so let's do not be against our own being : the humai being .

I'm very afraid for the future, let alone the future generations--look what all they have to contend with: the growing rises of corporofascism, overpopulation, depletion of natural resources, AIDS and new(er) epidemics, collapsing economics, etc. I've not forgotten about the future, but until I become rich, sadly I can barely take care of myself in today's world. DR...

Having two kids made me think and care about the future. I am worried that in the near future they might not experience some things. I am worried that things in the future will make them like this or like that. Thanks and happy mylotting!

Yes, of course! I am concern with our future.. I know that I won't be alive anymore after 100 years.. But I know that great grand children are still born and I am concern with what kind of life they are going to have..I want them to grow healthy, enjoy the life, and most of all have a good attitude like Filipino People before.. I don't want to grow the way they want like doing things not acceptable by law of man and most of all law of God.. I want them to grow good boys and girls.. Have a simple and happy life.. The government will already stop corrupting the money of the people/country, and most of all I hope that there are still fresh air, and water to breath by my great grand children's.. Because I'm afraid that 100years from now everything will be more technology.. They cannot more breath with fresh air since the air was polluted with so much smoke from factories and vehicles.. No more animals living since our environment is already destroyed... They were already eating with all mens inventions, no more fresh foods.. I am thinking that our future will be all high technology since I can observed that every year there are new technology invented by men so it is not possible that 100years from now, high technology are very where already..

i do care about my future generation. it is also biblical.. when we are faithful with our lives, then the next generation will also be. but when we are not, then the next would be worst. a curse will be passed on to them.. tomorrow is determined by what we are to do this day.. that is what i believe.. that is why, let us fix our lives, and pass the faithfulness to the next..
