Being fairly new here myself and after reading other discussions and responses I have kind of come to the conclusion that the mylot earning system is very complicated and cannot be rationally worked out. I do that you can improve your earnings by writing quality responses consisting of a decent length and perhaps best responses may contirbute a little but not much compared to the former. The bonus is not earnings but a wonderful sense of accomplishment and pride for having been selected by another member for your efforts arthi!

I do not think so that you getting the best response in a discussion will increase your earnings here. When you post a quality response, you are awarded some cents and your earnings get accumulated, therefore, even if, your response is selected as the best one, the response remains the same and you have been given some earnings for the same no further cents are given for the same response. Best Responses help strengthen your overall ratings on mylot, I believe. Best of luck!
