Teachers have a big responsibility on a day to day basis dealing with children in various school settings. It stands to reason that their influences impact their students for years to come. I know that in their own training they do get the benifit of learning material dealing with human development. I think that they do not apply it very well. Do they really expect to motivate and help to develop increased self-esteem in children when they themselves are not examples. I say to teachers,"Get it together. You are entrusted with the task of helping to shape the young hearts and mind of children along with the three"R'S". Elevate yourself so you can lift the children". Feedback please!
