We people simply don't care ???

Around 2 years back there was a small slum at the backside of my school located in central New Delhi(India). The slum was evicted by the municipal corporation and the land was sold to the Delhi Metro Authorities.AT first we all were very happy as the surroundings of the school would now look much neat & clean. But after 3-4 months of their eviction, we got to know that the concerned authorities who had promised those slum dwellers a better place had instead dumped them in an unhygienic, dirty and diseased prone area at the outskirts of Delhi and they have been suffering since. After hearing this tragic news many of us realized that the people of my country simply don't care for others and think about themselves, the country is rotting with anti-social elements, communalism and corruption.
