I saw first 2 episodes today and from what I saw I can say it's decent. But there's nothing really so far that would drive me to continue watching it. What do you think about this anime?

The story is entirely different from all those anime present out there. You have seen only 2 episodes, well tell you what, The first four episodes are just the introduction. They are just there to get you some idea about dolls and contractors. After 4 episodes, the real game starts. Watch the entire series, its only like 25 episodes. You will love the music and story, atleast that I can guarantee.

Wow six months passed fro since I started this thread. I've seen 4 episodes and then gave up on the show but you said that it gets good after 4 episodes lol
Maybe I'll give it second chance?

Thanks for chosing mine as the best response, though i know that you didnt hav much of the choices to make....hehe.....neways.....the story line is real good, you will definitely like it, and wont cut out the suspense about the ending but the ending is real sad.

Season 1 is really interesting and has cool fight scenes with Hei beating the crap out of other contractors... Season 2 isn't so good though, the main character's a stupid little girl and Hei has long hair and is unshaven, looking like a hobo! T^T
I suggest you stop after season 1 and read the manga or something afterwards

Well, DTB, IMO is a really good anime. Hei not being your ordinary/regular protagonist is one of the reason why I like this anime. The story, the music, the art style, and the characters are pretty good, IMO. The only things that I don't like about this anime are the lack of fighting scenes and, umh... the ending. :P
I hope that they could make another season, cause there are still lots of mysteries/question unsolved.
