Keating five (or two?)

October 6, 2008 4:37pm CST
Obmama has begun airing adds focusing on McCains involvement with the "Keating five" However, john Glenn was member of the Keating five and is now an activist for senator obama. Glenn introduced Obama at the Springsteen concert, has been involved in conference calls with reporters and just yesterday was out gathering votes n Ohio. For those who don't know Glenn was a senator for Ohio. Now, since Obama has no problems with having a surrogate who was a Ketiang fiver, what does everyone think of his attempts to use this scandal aganst McCain and will the media pick up on it. If so how so?

It might be good to refresh peoples memory about the Keating Five. Who were the Keating five: Alan Cranston (D-CA) Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ) John Glenn (D-OH) Donald W. Riegle (D-MI) John McCain (R-AZ) Keating was a major employer in AZ and it would be within their (McCain and DeConcini) duties to try to help him. Bringing up the Keating five might backfire because the other four were Democrats Just as it seems in today's economic crisis the major players are Democrats. John Glenn is a supporter of Senator Obama.

Because Obama knows that his supporters don't care what the facts are, they only care what he tells them. But Ugly October isn't about the supporters, it's about the undecideds, so John Glen's status as a Keating 5 member just might come back to bite Obama in his racist butt.
