Pomeranians

I have a pomeranian and a pomeranian mix and they bark alot, even though they listen pretty well most of the time if I have company come over they are almost uncontrolable.Has anyone else had this problem and how do you handle the problem.
Thanks for any advise.

Idk what can stop them from barkin but i know when i come over they just love to bark at me even though the see me practically every day.
and i know for a fact that yelling for them to "shut up" does NOT work..lol..
but idk. mabey one day they will learn to like me...haha

Yeah, I hope they one day get over barking at people they know, even though I think some of it is exictment.

yeah. it is kinda funny.. sometimes anyway. then sometimes is annoying after like 5 min. of barkin..lol but its all good.

You can break them of barking so much by putting a few pennies in a pop can and taping it shut. Whenever they bark, throw the can in their direction (but not AT them!) so the noise startles and distracts them. Praise them when they are quiet.

I actually never thought of that I've heard compressed air works but I've never tried it.

I like Pomeranians very much and they are very cute to see.I Brought one Pomeranian and i love it very much.Everyday i take care about Pomeranian and if any one Touch Pomeranian they bark a lot so we should be careful.Whenever i went outside i will keep Pomeranian in a safe place.
