a day and a half later!

For us things go in threes if not more! Last year, the fridge went, the microwave went and then the phone. This year we had problems with both vehicles so had to pay out more for inspection for the van, truck still isnt inspected (no money to fix it) and found we have a leak in the pipes for the outside wood stove/furnace. UGHHH Things seem to happen like that thou, all you can do is try and get things under control while not losing it.

Yeah, of course, misfortunes never go single. If one thing goes wrong in my life, there will definitely some others appear. Likewise, happinesses will do the same thing. I consider that maybe because this one thing affect our mood and therefore result in benign circle or vicious circle. I never count the number, either because i'm too happy or i'm too depressed to care, i just let meself dip in the situation and be sad or joyful with all the heart i have. Manage our emotions, these won't act the same way, however, it's pricky to manage emotions you know that

i have been in the same situation before when almost everything that has to do with electronics in the house were just breaking down as if it was a plague,first it was my television then my dvd player ,later my room hifi player,then some household appliance,its funny even the electric bulbs were not spared

Hi Littleowl, Firstly glad that you have managed to sort the laptop out at last and please do make sure you go back to the original company and complain as that is £80 you can now do with to help get another TV eh! I think if you are expecting a third thing it will happen so don't let the auto suggestion of it kick in, electrical problems as well as being spirit world games can be due to high stress levels too. Funnily enough an almost brand new TV of mine blew up the other week but only flat screen available as replacement so it done me a favour really as now have one HD ready with freeview installed and also DVD player within it too which leaves a lot less wires and more space. To me the message from the laptop problem was extra protection needed which you did go and get but perhaps on another level too. Heres to nothing else going wrong. Love & hugles. Ellie :D

Maybe it's astrological and sometimes the stars align to make things go wrong in batches, littleowl. We had a week a few months back where several things blew up or broke one after the other. It was a disaster, and very expensive! Hopefully there will also be times when we won't have to replace anything for ages ... my Mum says things happen in threes, but this particular week I think we had almost three lots of threes - the bad luck just kept on coming!

Recently my DVD player blowed up, and a pair of weeks later my sound system blowed up too... I believe that the connection of the house is not polarized and a storm ruine some components of those apparatuses. This problen is strange, because that only went ruined the sound systems.

Oh wow I am so sorry about that you are not having a good time at all are you? But yes it always happens in 3 I have the same believe me but I think you had your 3 as both Laptops where affected so that makes it 3

That is great to hear. I am so sorry to hear about your tv though. It sounds like you have my luck. I have heard that things happen in threes also. I have lost count of all of the bad things that happen to me. Alot of times, it is more than three at a time.

I don't think I've ever counted how many things go wrong at once but it seems that when it rains it pours. One thing after another. Last year we lost our DVD player and VCR within a week of each other. Then a couple weeks later our microwave caught fire. I thought there was something wrong with the wiring in the house for awhile but it was evidently just a coincidence... or gremlins

I've never counted the things that went wrong in groups, but it does seem like if one things is broken and getting fixed then something else goes wrong

Hi littleowl, That sucks! i know what you'r like, are you sure its not you thats doing it again when you'r upset you blow your tops and every thing electric blows as well, you done that to my video and it still don't work. (((((littleowl)))) It always happens that way, doesn't it? A couple of years ago, I came home from work, and the fridge had gone out. I went and got another one. The day after I bought the fridge and had it installed, I came home to my 4 young adults, sopping water up off the kitchen floor. They had used every towel, blanket and whatever else they could find to dry the floor. I thought the plumbing had burst in the wall or something. No, the bottom of the water heater had fallen out and flooded the place. Had to go that afternoon and order a new one. Not long after that, my washing machine decided to start slinging some kind of grease onto the clothes as they were being washed, then it stopped running altogether...with a full tub of water, no less. Immediately after that was replaced, the dryer started squeeling like bad brakes on a car, and went out. So, I sympathize with ya, darlin. Just hang in there, ok?*S*

Hi ya littleowl I do think things do come in threes, well they always seem to. If my mum comes up to visit there is always something she needs to bring with her. If it is only two things then we both say that we will have to think of a third so that way she won't forget!! I do hope things get better for you soon!
