With or without mayo?

I don't like mayonnaise. It's just that. And I don't like it soo much that I don't understand why fastfoods keep on putting so much of it in their foods. I mean, I don't mind a think layer of mayonnaise but if it's overdone when my burger starts tasting sour! My tuna sandwich and chicken sandwich HAS to have more tuna/chicken than mayo...that makes it a little dry but I don't mind as long as it's not sour. So what would it be for you, ma'am/sir? With or without mayo? And if you do like mayo...what about it do you like? Maybe I'd get a revelation and finally enjoy my burger with mayo.

I'm not a big fan of mayo either but I don't mind a bit of mayo on my burger or sandwich. They put mayo on the burger to supposedly make it taste better. Sometimes, a bit of mayo compliments the flavor of the burger but like you said, they sometimes put way too much mayo on their burgers. A tuna sandwich with no mayo would seem pretty dry to me so it has to have some mayo.

I just request the mayo on the side. This way I can add as much or as little as I prefer at the time. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I never have mayo. If I get mayo, then I just wipe a bit off with a napkin and eat it. It doesn't have a huge flavor, I suppose it's just about making the sandwich wetter, but it can get soggy anyway. Yuck!

Hi! For me, mayonnaise adds a bit of something to the taste of burgers and sandwiches. I prefer the light mayonnaise, though, and not the sour one. My preference is Miracle Whip Light. I just want one thin layer of mayo, not too much. I can just imagine the tons of cholesterol, and I would feel sick to my stomach. Hahaha. Happy myLotting!

oyenkai hi me either as most fast food places use the crappiest mayo they can buy . I always say no mayo please and no cheese, they dont use real cheese but cheese food that tastes like plain old oil. I love hidden valleys ranch dressing but have never found a placethat uses good stuff like that. its ever so much better than most mayos and you can get no fat or low fat and its still very tasty. I also love real cheese, cheddar medium sharp for example. but no mayo at any fast food place please.

I never like mayo too and usually when i buy a burger i personally requested for just light mayo dressing and without tomatoe lol I dont like eating burger with too much mayo. I love putting ketchup with mayo though, specially when im eating burger. When i was a child and my mom both a mayo sandwich spread i was so unhappy. Coz i never enjoy eating my sandwich at all lol. But as i grow up i began to adjust to it so as long as its not too much mayo i am fine with it.

I've always hated mayo. I do like those special sauces that fast food places put on certain burgers, but I've never learned the name of what it is. It looks like mayonnaise, but doesn't taste like vomit. My general way of telling what I don't like on my burgers/anything is if it's white, it's gross. Except that special sauce. And I don't like mustard either. But most everything else is generally yummy.

I'll take mayo please. I do not think it tastes sour at all. I am not sure why I like it. I grew up eating Miracle Whip on things, but I ate Mayo once and I thought it tasted better. Now I rarely use Miracle Whip.

Miracle Whip or salad dressing as some call it is nothing like real Mayo. Miracle Whip is pretty sweet and very low in fat it is made from Water, soybean oil, vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, modified food starch, eggs, salt, mustard flour, artificial color, potassium sorbate as a preservative, paprika, spice, natural flavor, dried garlic. Mayo is not sweet at all and high in fat. Mayo is Soybean oil, water, eggs, vinegar, contains less than 2% of egg yolks, lemon juice concentrate, salt, sugar, dried onions, dried garlic, paprika, natural flavor, calcium disodium edta (to protect flavor). Kraft Mayonnaise is by far the best. It tastes totally different than other brands. Off brands of Mayonnaise are not very good I have found.

Sorry that should have said Hellman's Mayonnaise is by far the best. It is just eggs, oil, and vinegar. Kraft Mayo has all the other junk added.

Definitely without mayo. I can't stand the thing, ugh. When I was younger I did eat mayonnaise. We used to really love Dunkin' Donuts' Bunwich. It was really weird, because we would order it to go and we would pick which one we liked, but when it's time to eat it, we can't really figure out who ordered what because they all seemed to be alike. The breaking point was when, after going out for Bunwich AGAIN with my family, I took a bite and just gagged. The mayonnaise they slopped onto the burger was way too much. After that, I hated mayonnaise. Nowadays, when ordering, I would always specify "no mayonnaise" and have them put cheese instead.

Haha well I am from the Philippines! LOL! I guess, first, I rarely order food with mayonnaise. There is this one restaurant that serves Steak Sandwich and I love it, so I would always ask them to put cheese instead of mayo. They do oblige, though they charge me extra for the cheese. Not all fast food restaurants actually give in to my cheese demand, but I'm OK without it, as long as there's no mayo. If they tell me that there has to be, I would just ask them to put as little as possible. But with KFC, I have specified no mayo and they actually complied!

Wow, you can actually have your mayo changed for cheese -__- lucky you! I'd take cheese anytime! Restaurants here in the Philippines rarely listen to your preferences haha

I love mayo. I dont like eating burgers or sandwiches without it. However when I was growing up i didnt get to eat it a lot because my father hates it. He would not buy eat because he says he cant even stand to smell it. I could only eat it when I went out.

I absolutely hated this stuff as a kid, use to hate fast food outlets pouring copious amounts of it in burgers and with chips you could forget it. Went for years without ever touching the stuff and avoided it like the plague. But unknowingly in my late teens I tried a chicken wrap from a local supermarket and enjoyed it immensely. Completely oblivious to the fact it contained mayo and wondering what the white sauce was that added so much texture and taste I read the ingredients and there in black and white...MAYO was mentioned. Have been a fan ever since and can't get enough of the fast food chicken sandwiches with oodles of mayo thrown in. I'm converted and expect I will be for quite some time.

I got to say that i love mayonnaise but i don't overdo it on my sandwiches. I guess i'm not a picky person. If it's overdone on a sandwich at a restaurant or something i just go grab a knife and smear a bunch off and put it on they're little plastic trays. Eventually they have to clean it up off those trays and they'll get the point. It's called karma, or what goes around comes around.

What if it's not the mayo, what if it's just your viewe about it? If you dont like it, it's possible to ask not to put it on.

I do ask that they don't put it in my sandwich, it's just that they don't listen. And my view about mayo is actually what I'm trying to get influenced through this discussion :)

Well when it comes to "real mayo" i cant stand the stuff, but as for miracle whip, i can only eat small amounts, the tangness just...makes my mouth turn upside down, i do enjoy mustard and ketchup, mayo to me covers up your meat taste, but...with the right amount of fixings (add a little mustard to your myo) with fresh veggies...and its not so bad, gets ya use to the taste. could always go with the "light" mayo

I've been hearing a lot about miracle whip and mayo...I better set aside a snack time and give both a try and see what difference it'll make to me. Thanks a lot!

I really love mayonnaise, I have an addiction for the stuff. Because of this fact I try to not to stock it to much, otherwise I would have a jar a day habit. I really would love some mayonnaise right now

I have to have lots of mayo in my tuna fish. Takes the fishy taste out. Same with a turkey sandwich. I love lots of mayo on top.

I like mayonnaise in the sense that I like to have it almost all of my sandwiches. For me, it was kinda dull and not quite enjoyed the full taste of a sandwich without it, it makes the sandwich all the more tasty. I like to spread it as well over freshly baked breads, like pandesal(salted bread) and with cheese, it was really delicious and tasty.

I like mayonnaise. I put it on my egg salad and tuna sandwiches. I like to mix mayo and relish as dip for my fish and chips. I like it in my burgers and in my hotdogs. I also like to mix ketchup and mayo for my fries. I can't really say what it is about mayonnaise that I love so much to convince you to start enjoying it. But it's just there. If you probably don't like it that much, then maybe it isn't for you.
